PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The insulating properties of insulated bearings are usually ensured by a special process of coating the outer or inner ring of the bearing with a layer of insulating material, or its rolling elements are made of ceramics. The names and designations of these bearings are based on international bearing designations, with the outer ring insulated bearing designation vl0241 and the inner ring insulated bearing designation vl2071. The advantages of insulated bearings include avoiding damage caused by galvanic corrosion Ensuring more reliable operation of motors, cost-effectiveness and reliability compared to other insulation methods such as shaft or shell insulation. Insulated bearings have the same external dimensions and basic technical characteristics as non-insulated bearings, are 100% interchangeable and are suitable for use in electric motors and generators, particularly in inverter motors.
The classification of insulated bearings includes electrically insulated deep groove ball bearings, electrically insulated angular contact ball bearings, electrically insulated cylindrical roller bearings, inner or outer ring insulated bearings with oxide coatings and hybrid bearings with electrically insulated ceramic rolling elements. Even if the production of motors is tightly controlled during manufacture, it is difficult to avoid completely the magnetic asymmetry of the armature and rotor. This asymmetry generates a voltage between the stators, which in turn generates a current through the bearings. especially in AC motors. This current produces damage such as corrosion pits, fusion marks, galvanic corrosion file lines and discolouration, wear and tear on the bearing raceways and rolling element surfaces. The use of insulated bearings is therefore effective in preventing these damages from occurring.
